what a great, but sooo busy weekend! we started off the weekend with our monthly vs meeting on friday that lasted late into the evening. saturday was an early morning as heather, tiffany and i headed to the mennonite peace center to weed and clean the garden for the fall workday. we tore up those weeds and all are still remembering it fondly as our sore thighs are constant reminders of our hard work and skill in the gardening arena... oktoberfest was celebrated this weekend in soulard and we stopped by for a bit following our gardening but didn't last long as naps were calling our names. dan finished up his second year of vs at the beginning of this month and so we treated him out to a dinner at outback steakhouse saturday evening. but the big highlight of the weekend was attending my first ever professional football game!! some friends at church gave us (the vsers) four tickets to go the the Rams versus Cardinals game. Although the Rams didn't win (31-34), we had a blast cheering and watching a very close game. i wouldn't be objected to attending more of these in the future...anyone got more tickets?! we wrapped up the weekend last night with a big canadian thanksgiving meal, complete with lots of friends, games of four on the couch, a big turkey and of course pumpkin pie. yum, i am up for celebrating two thanksgivings every year! the pictures are of the rams field, the vs unit at the game and thanksgiving dinner aftermath

Hey, good idea - 2 Thanksgivings - great excuse to overindulge on all my favorite foods. Looks like you've been having some major fun. Wish we could run down there for the weekend and bring the new pups. Gonna let Dan come eat dinner with you sometimes?
Happy fall!! Love you tons - Mama
