we are now in incredible goa, yes incredible. sara and i took an overnight train from mumbai to margoa yesterday and arrived yesterday morning. upon arrival we found that the monsoon had arrived and we were clouted with downpours of rain. apparently because it is still the beginning of the season rains are quite sporatic and today we enjoyed a full day of sunshine. we started off at the beach and then got a scooter and spent the afternoon exploring goa, really the fun was the scooter, i want one! we are staying at a really cute place called rosario's inn, and rosario is super nice. i did laundry last night and hung it out on the veranda but it is having trouble drying because it is so dang humid here. i just hope it drys before tomorrow when we leave for cochin, further south...packing wet things is no fun.

Eager to hear more about the Bollywood movie! We're having monsoons here, too - or maybe just spring drear. The sheets and T-shirts I hung on the line on Sat. were just as wet Sunday night. Still no passports.
