summer fun

i have been having a lot of fun catching up with friends and family in virginia and making decisions about what is next for me. this weekend i was able to go to ohio and attend the wedding of one of my best friends, melanie kratzer. we had so much fun with the wedding events and reconnecting with long distance friends. on another note, after lots of consideration i will be going back to st. louis to serve with mennonite voluntary service for another year at the end of august. i will be changing positions when i return and this year i will be working at la clinica, a small clinic that serves the hispanic immigrant population and other refugee groups. at the clinic i will be able to do patient care, as well as participate in other public health activities throughout st. louis. i feel great about this decision and am excited to embark on a new adventure at la clinica. the pictures are from mel's wedding and of me, amy, heather, sara, ben, melanie and mike
