ain sokhna

ain sokhna is basically the place for people from cairo to go and vacation on the red sea. adam and sarah's landlord has a nice place at a ramada resort in ain sokhna with a private beach and swimming pool which she lets them use on occasion. we drove out to the coast for two days to bask in the beauty of the beach, and the pool. the water was crystal clear and a nice temperature which beckoned to us to come swim. the beach was practically empty and so we had lots of space all to ourselves. the dogs enjoyed tackling each other, digging lots of trenches and filling themselves completely with sand. the time was so nice to swim, relax and play some good games. back in cairo now we only have two more days here. we are thinking of all that we still need to do and want to visit the market and various shops around maadi before heading home on thursday. it has all gone so quickly, i can hardly believe i have been gone for 7 weeks. the pictures are of the resort, the family at the beach and us playing settlers
