it was such a beautiful weekend here in st. louis with hot air balloon festivities in forest park. friday evening we headed down for the glow, when all the balloons are blown up and then lit for a fantastic sight. the weather has changed here and it feels like fall has offically begun with the nice crisp evenings but i do admit we got a little chilly watching the glow. saturday heather and i spent running errands all over town and then in the late afternoon we headed back to forest park for the hot air balloon race. the giant energizer bunny began the race and heather and i counted 39 balloons up in the air. i have never seen such a sky filled with balloons and so much intense color. so gorgeous. the pictures are of the bunny lit up, a slightly dark picture of me, heather and dan in front of a balloon, and the farm and alpo balloons being lit
